SBS / SBS Jungle Patrol UKSF
This 4 man patrol represents a British SF patrol in jungle kit. They compliment well our other bleeding edge Royal Marines Commandos, SBS, and, SF figures... don't forget out metal figures ;)
The team is equipped for a jungle patrol in light order kit. Three of the team have C8 carbines, prefered over many of the other long-arm options as a consistent performer in harsh, wet, muddy conditions. They have a 10 inch barrel for rapid manouvering in close confies and often clostrophobic jungle. The fourth member of the team has a minimi para and would act as a supression asset in the case of an engagement. For the UKSF, it is often considered to be a mission failure if the unit is ever detected; however, they operate on the principle that when obliged to engage they attack into the fight and use overwhelming suppresion to deter further engagement. A four man UKSF jungle patrol will carry enough firepower to present as a platoon sized element.
These chaps are only carrying light packs with essentials and amunition in; as they are sculpted to represent an element patrolling out of a more established lying up point.
They have been carefully researched with detailed inputs from current and former members of the UKSF and RM community within the UK.
The file is provided unsupported, so it can be adjusted for different printers. The figures have been test printed in a number of scales, including 28mm and 1:100.
Although modeled on inputs from the UKSF community, we are assured that the unit would work well for use as similarly tasked troopers from a number of other global SF forces. They could also be used to represent more specialised units within the green army, such as the Pathfinders elements of the Parachute Regiment.
