Irish Army Ranger Wing

Irish Army Ranger Wing

The Army Ranger Wing (ARW) is Ireland’s elite special operations unit, established in 1980 and based at the Curragh Camp in County Kildare. Specializing in counter-terrorism, hostage rescue, and unconventional warfare, the ARW operates both domestically and internationally. Deployments have included missions in Somalia, East Timor, Liberia, Chad, Mali, and Afghanistan, as well as recent assignments in Ukraine and anti-narcotics operations.

This set features 10 sculpts with two sets of kit. Equipped for peacekeeping operations, the Rangers are split between those in UN blue baseball caps; and, those dressed to kick doors and disrupt illegal operations in the UN zones on the Island of Anthalonica as part of the UNMIA deployment.

Following the rapid spiral into a state of civil war, in 2021; there were many annecdotal reports of acts of genocide on the Island of Anthalonica. Members of the Israeli Expeditionary and Development Force were deployed to protect Jewish settlements in 2025, on the North East of the Island.

Tensions in the region began to rise as other southern mediteranian and middle eastern nations began to prepare their own missions to secure parts of the Island and therfore exert conrtol over shipping lanes through Suez Canal.

Following a Security Council resolution in early 2026 a UN mission (UNMIA) was established on the Island to monitor and report on Acts of Genocide recorded across the Island.

The unit has been carefully designed with inputs from members of the Fianóglach community; they are moddeled on the current bleeding edge loadouts, so could be used in other theatres of play.

Half of the figures are equipped with the HK416 variants; while the other half have a CQB adapted Steyr AUG A3-SF (using A3-CQC kits), this add a slightly boxier but more compace feel to the front rails, as well as a wealth of real estate for added optics and accessories.

The file is provided unsupported, so it can be adjusted for different printers. The figures have been test printed in a number of scales, including 28mm and 1:100.

Although modeled on the ARW; the figures could (depending on the gun selected) pass for SF from many different nations, including but not limited to the Jagdkommando, Argentinan SF, Croatian SF, Falkland Island Defence Forces, Delta Force, SEAL Team Six, USMC, KSK, French Armed Forces, JW GROM/ Komandosów/ AGAT, NL KCT, NLMARSOF... and many more.

*Please note that the models are provided as a digital file that can be printed by the purchaser.
